  1. Full Body Pregnancy Pillow — ♥

This was truly a game changer—a heavenly nest that gave me the best night’s sleep from night one. This was the perfect (albeit very large addition) to our bed. Talk about embracing comfort and being unafraid to take up space! 🤣 So comfortable!

  2. Palmer’s Coconut Body Oil

This! Pre-pregnancy, I was pretty negligent about using lotion and moisturizer. Wanting to avoid stretch marks on my stomach as much as possible, I was thrilled when a friend randomly gave me “belly oil” of a different brand. I loved it, and didn’t know until then such a thing existed.

I eventually tried this oil as well and was obsessed with it. I bought this over and over and used it most every day.

While I can certainly make no promises to others, I personally did not have any stretch marks on my stomach after pregnancy and was quite pumped about it. I think this helped a lot (and allowed me to stay quite moisturized throughout my preggers journey)!

  3. Palmer’s Cocoa Butter Lotion For Stretch Marks — ♥

I used this and Palmer’s Coconut Body Oil religiously while pregnant and (my own lucky experience!) was avoiding stretch marks on my stomach. My mother-in-law got this for me and highly recommended this brand; as a former pregnant mother of twins, I trusted she knew what was up. 🤣 I bought this over and over and loved it.

  4. Large Faux Fur Reading Pillow — ♥

This pillow summed up the majority of my pregnancy journey. 🤣 I was exhausted my first trimester, working full-time and coming home in the winter months when it was already dark outside. My husband was the ultimate water and snack provider while I camped out in our bedroom that became my sanctuary to rest and relax.

I read tons of books, watched some great shows, and crocheted huge blankets and baby hats while this pillow quite literally had my back. (Combined with my beloved pregnancy pillow—I couldn’t wait to get home to my cozy preggers nest each night!)

  5. Hypnobirthing: A Natural Approach to a Safe, Easier, More Comfortable Birthing — Marie Mongan MEd

As a prenatal yoga teacher who absolutely loves helping women during this very transitional time of their lives, long before I ever became pregnant myself, several students told me how much they thought I would love Hypnobirthing®. To be totally honest, I had no clue what they were talking about and I thought it sounded a little weird. 🤣😬

However, this book is AMAZING and I would recommend it to anyone pregnant, no matter what their birthing experience may end up being! This book is incredibly empowering, and highlights the strength, resiliency, and absolute beauty of femininity. While pregnant, I read this book and was pumped up!

I was practicing my hypnobirthing affirmations and meditations, and was mentally and emotionally so prepared and excited to try for a natural birth. Fate of course had other plans, and I had no choice but to have a scheduled c-section, which was the exact opposite of what I hoped my birthing experience would be. All in all? It was fine. (I wrote way more about it here.) No matter what your experience may end up being, this book is still 100% worth the read, and will help you step into your power.

  6. More BOOKS?! But of course! — ♥

Alright, alright — if you know me, you know I LOVE books and after years of teaching prenatal yoga and learning about pregnancy, it was obviously an entirely different chapter to experience pregnancy myself instead of just reading about it. While I found these books interesting before, they were of course WAY more pertinent and cool to read when actually pregnant. I found them fascinating, and every little detail I read made me feel closer to the precious little baby I was making. These were my favorite!

  7. Seamless Ultra Comfort Maternity Bra — ♥

I had no idea how much I hated underwire bras until I became pregnant. 🤣 Once I made the switch, it’s been hard for me to go back, even years later. These bras are super comfortable and great to wear once your baby is born as well!

  8. High Waist Maternity Underwear — ♥

Talk about hot! Lol!!! 🤣 These were so comfortable, and I felt cute pregnant no matter what I wore (clearly 🤣). I happily rocked these through my pregnancy and postpartum chapters of my life. I loved how these felt on my belly and was all about them.

  9. Maternity Stretch Over The Belly Leggings — ♥

Once my belly started to make an appearance, I bought two pairs of these leggings and never looked back. I pretty much lived in these, to be honest. 🤣 With these comfortable cute leggings and my maternity bras, I wore my normal stretchy sweaters and shirts most of my pregnancy.

  10. TUMS Extra Strength Antacid Tablets — ♥

Pregnancy is the gift that keeps on giving! 🤣 As someone who rarely takes or has over-the-counter medicine in my home (aside from my favorite prenatal vitamins!) I got to experience heartburn for the first time as my pregnancy progressed. Check with your doctor first of course, but Tums were on my approved list to take and they sure helped me (almost immediately) after seriously feeling the burn, wide awake for many nights. A simple game changer for me!
